Synopsis

A year after the celebrations marking the bicentenary of its foundation, the Museo Egizio comes to cinemas for the first time. With over 900,000 visitors a year, the Museo Egizio is the fifth most visited museum in Italy and the oldest in the world dedicated to ancient Egyptian civilization. The film explores the findings, scientific studies and the behind-the-scenes story of the Museum, with special guest Oscar® winning actor Jeremy Irons guiding us on a journey of discovery to see the treasures of one of the most fascinating civilizations in ancient history.
