Documentary following the life and career of 'IT' girl and cultural icon, Dame Twiggy Lawson. The documentary, directed by Sadie Frost, will be the first time Twiggy has ever told her story first-hand, featuring interviews and commentary from loved ones, famous faces and Twiggy herself. Discovered at 16, Twiggy took the modelling world by storm, becoming an overnight sensation. The model graced the covers of Vogue and Tatler by 17 and the New Yorker magazine devoted nearly 100 pages to the Twiggy "phenomenon" after her arrival in New York. Twiggy quickly became an inspiration to many women around the world. Bringing what many described as 'elfin androgyny' to the forefront, she had a major hand in revolutionising the accepted image of the female form, giving a voice to a whole new generation of women.
