Flow is a Latvian animation which tells the story of a solitary cat but as its home is devastated by a great flood, he finds refuge on a boat populated by various species, and will have to team up with them despite their differences.

Created by a small team with a budget of only £3 million and created entirely on a free open-source 3D CG software, Flow has already won numerous accolades after its premiere in Cannes - including the Oscar for best animated feature. With no dialogue in this animation, Flow has managed to capture and let humans experience how animals experience a disaster unfold - with no warning or context.
