
Synopsis
Directed by Raoul Peck (I Am Not Your Negro, Lumumba), a filmmaker known for exploring historical and political figures, Ernest Cole: Lost and Found gives further life to its subject and is devoted to extending the personal voice of the late photographer who had been exiled in life. The film follows Ernest Cole as he documents apartheid in South Africa, and later, its echoes in New York City and the American South.
Winner of the Œil d'or at the Cannes Film Festival 2024 and narrated by LaKeith Stanfield, Peck gives audiences the opportunity to traverse through the unique life and career of an extraordinary photographer.

Lighthouse
Lighthouse is a fortnightly discovery strand designed to give the film lovers of Hertford and beyond, an opportunity to watch films that might be slightly more off the beaten track than your mainstream titles.
Taking place every other Thursday at 7pm, Lighthouse screenings will include a variety of titles which vary from arthouse directorial debuts to heartfelt documentaries and quirky body horror titles.
All Lighthouse screenings will operate a 'Pay What You Feel' pricing structure which will allow you to choose the price point that best suits you.
