Joseph Morpurgo & Paddy Young: Fringe Preview Double Bill
A night of previews from comedians Joseph Morpurgo and Paddy Young before the head up to the Edinburgh Fringe for August.
Joseph Morpurgo - Critically acclaimed, multi-genre comedian Joseph Morpurgo returns with his first new show in nine years.
A decade ago, Joseph discovered something in a car boot sale. Something old, something ordinary, something mundane. But all is not as it seems. Is it ever? In Highlander 70, “the UK’s foremost alchemist of “found” comedy and irreverent, cross-media mash-up humour” (Scotsman) excavates the past and brings the audience along for the ride, with the help of some physical media, animation… and, of course, the good folks at Jim’s Steak and Spaghetti House.
Paddy Young - The award-winning stand-up and star of Saturday Night Live UK’s Weekend Update presents a preview of his brand new show.
You’re born alone, you die alone. That’s true enough. But what happened to that part in the middle?
Big Year for Pad. SNL (UK, but still a big deal), a bunch of awards (hate bringing them up), and plenty of bit-parts to boot.
But what’s it all about? I’ve fallen in love more times than you’ve had hot dinners and I’ve fumbled every single one of them. Some of these baddies have had me winning staring competitions with the ceiling.
